Courtesy Desk Christmas Ornament 2022 by Sara Gossett

Introducing what I hope to be an annual, exclusive Courtesy Desk Christmas ornament. This 2022 ornament is limited to 100 and each one is hand numbered and signed by the artist. It is a large circle; 3.5" in size. As the back is metal (think of this like an oversized band badge with an elastic silver string), there may be some sharp edges so note - this is not a toy for children. Each ornament comes in a holiday themed cellophane and will come free automatically in any order $75 or more from now until they are sold out. They are also for sale individually here.

I can't imagine a better way to kick off this new holiday tradition than with Sara Gossett and a nod to the eye candy that is a classic vintage record box. Sara is a dear friend, sometimes DJ partner, and a gifted artist whose music related work I know many of you are already familiar with. Her nostalgic designs are a nod to: Art Nouveau and Art Deco design but also psychedelic poster art, book illustrations from the 1960s & ‘70s, vintage fashion and style, hand-drawn lettering and typography, decorative patterns with flowing lines of black and white with splashes of bright color. It is my goal to support and lift up the members of the creative community whose work I admire and it is truly an honor to share Sara's magical gift with the Courtesy Desk family.

Sara Gossett is a Chicago-based artist & illustrator with a lifelong love of vintage style and design that is frequently reflected in her work.
