Author-composer, folksinger, influenced as much by William Sheller as by Mark Kozelek or Richard Hawley, Camille Bénâtre looks towards Anglo-Saxon melodies in Barbara's language. After ten years in a family folk duo with his sister in Alone With Everybody (tours in the United States, Belgium, Switzerland, Sweden, England), and when he is not in the studio or on tour with Laure Briard, he flourishes in his own name, solo.

After "Nos Rendez-vous Manqués" (2015) and "Ilôt de Consolation" (2017) recorded in a Toulouse basement and published on La Souterraine (and the latter in cassette version here), this new chapter "Après le Soir" clearly looks towards the American northwest (Elliott Smith, M. Ward, Fleet Foxes).
